At Tria, our mandate is to promote the importance of supporting local farms and producers whenever and wherever possible. With every service and product we offer there is one common theme: support Comox Valley farms and producers first; Vancouver Island producers second; B.C. producers third; Canadian producers fourth; and international producers fifth.
When sourcing national and international products, our considerations include small-scale production, environmental sustainability and ethical environmental practices including awareness of both human and animal welfare.
Our classes and workshops aim to educate using the following principles:
Whenever possible, eat locally and eat seasonally.
Support farmers and shop at farmers’ markets and farm stands.
Learn to grown your own food.
The three-hour class includes recipes, dinner and a Blue Moon wine tasting. contact us.
The Full Moon Feast will be held once per month, on the evening of the full moon. The Full Moon Feast will feature a changing fixed price menu using local and seasonal products. We can seat up to 14 people inside; pre-booking is required.
We are happy to accommodate any food allergies or food preferences, please let us know upon booking of any special requirements.
Please see our schedule for a list of summer Full Moon Feasts.
Tria’s mobile concession stand, Travelling Tria, will be at the Comox Valley Farmers’ Market every Saturday from April to October where we will feature our berry marmellata with hot, made-to-order crepes.
